Ben M Roberts is the founder and host of ‘The Marketing Buzzword Podcast’, Head of Marketing at Talkative, a SaaS Technology Start-Up and an international conference speaker. In 2018 he was also named Wales’ No1 businessman under 35.
Ben’s podcast boasts thousands of unique listeners around the world, and he has interviewed some of the biggest names in marketing, to help break down common marketing buzzwords to the sum of their parts. In addition to the podcast, Ben also speaks about marketing buzzwords and personal branding at conferences in the UK and beyond. He also contributes to notable online business & marketing publications, with a growing portfolio of media features and mentions from across the UK and around the world.
During the day, Ben can be found as Head of Marketing at a rapidly expanding Startup Technology company called Talkative. At Talkative, Ben has built the marketing department from scratch. This includes everything from putting together the strategy, ensuring the website was best placed to rank highly in search engines, establishing a reporting suite and hiring new team members, to physically writing content and negotiating deals with industry experts.
Prior to his role at Talkative, Ben was Head of Marketing at a Top 100 UK Insurance Broker (Moorhouse Group), and before that Marketing Strategist at a large, specialist eCommerce website (Heinnie.com). This has helped give Ben a broad understanding of differences in digital marketing across various industries both B2B and B2C. He has made an incredible number of mistakes and had even more success on route to today. All of those experiences he now wants to use to help other people develop their businesses and careers.
